SPONSORS

Tenix is this country’s largest wholly Australian owned defence and technology contractor. This company has kindly supplied a comprehensive avionics suite which enables the Boomerang to operate in today’s busy airspace environment. In addition, most of the electrical cabling and terminals throughout the airframe have been supplied by Tenix. Click on the adjacent Tenix icon to visit their website for more information on this diverse and innovative company.
Air BP supplies a wide range of high quality products and services to the aviation community, and provides support to the Boomerang through their generous fuel sponsorship. This assistance helps to offset the Boomerang’s operating costs and allows the aeroplane to make selected appearances at various air displays and public venues throughout Australia. Whilst not flying, the Boomerang can be viewed at the Museum of Australian Army Flying, located at the Army Aviation Centre, Oakey, Queensland approximately two hours drive west of Brisbane. Museum open times are normally 10-00am to 4-00pm Wednesday to Sunday, as well as public holidays or by special appointment.
